Website Maintenance FAQ's

Regular maintenance of your website is important if you want to keep it running securely and speedily. Your WordPress website is built using a theme and a variety of different third-party plugins which all provide different functions. The WordPress software, theme and the plugins are constantly being updated with new functionality and security features. A failure to update to the latest version can lead to errors appearing on your website over time as well as making it less secure. Regular backups are vital especially if you are regularly adding new content to the website. In the event of something going wrong with your website hosting you risk losing all that content. Unless you or someone who works for you understands very well the backend of your WordPress site you need to hire someone to do this for you.

The short answer to this is yes. Anything that cannot reasonably be done within the 60 or 120 minute monthly allowance is not included in the website maintenance package. An example of this would be major changes to the websites layout or the addition of a number of new pages.
